My Nuvi 2595LMT will not turn on. I suspect the fan, since when i put my ear, close to the fan, i can’t hear it spinn. Just a “bussing” sound. When connect the USB to the car or computer, it says on the screen: GARMIN - loading maps and then turn of.

I don’t think there is a fan inside. Perhaps the sound you hear is coming from the speaker.
Is it charging? Battery could be broken or is not charging properly anymore. Is it responding or doing anything when you put the USB cable in ?

Thank you for quick answer. When connct the GPS to a car or a computer, it shows the Garmin logo and the it say "loading maps" Then the screen brighten up for a second, before GPS turns off.
So looks like the USB port is still doing it's job. Looks like it's battery related (perhaps it's not charging anymore, or holding charge).. Is there a way you can test with another battery or measure it?
I just ordered a new battery. X fingers :)

Hopefully that will be it! Anyway, replacing the battery after a long time is always a benefit. Please let me know the outcome :).
