Can everything be replaced

can everything on a iPhone be replaced or is it certain things? I really need my pictures off my iPhone but it wont turn on and the lcd screen is broken and my pictures are only on the phone(not on icloud or anything like that)

You will need to troubleshoot the motherboard to get the photos off. The CPU handles the encryption and contains the key, so there is no way to switch NAND flash out willy nilly.

You will need to find a schematic and get a good multimeter for this job, or send it out for professional board repair.

@jo1234 the pictures are stored on a “chip” located on your logicboard so you cannot replace that. Everything else can pretty much be replaced. The question is now what happened to it that it does not come on. I would at least go ahead and replace the display assembly and the battery. A new battery may just have enough power to turn your phone on long enough to backup your data. You do not want to do any more if you are uncomfortable with doing those repairs. You could try to contact a microsoldering expert like @refectio and see what he thinks your next step should be.

yes, technically everything can be replaced but if you have an issue with the logic board, upon replacement you will lose all your pictures. you could possibly micro solder the storage off the motherboard and replace it with the new motherboard but that isn’t really a DIY type of thing. Hope this helped
