Why are there streaks down the screen?
There’s steaks running vertically down the picture on the tv, no color just plain streaks on the left facing the tv.

could be a lot of things. anything from a bad component on the PCB to a bad DLP chip. This model Mitsubishi had issues with the light engine, which could be a cause as well. This is not going to be an easy or inexpensive repair and will require you to do some very intensive troubleshooting. I’d start with the PCB and check for obviously damaged components.
