Changing charging socket :galaxy j7 2017

Here’s a link to a video that shows the teardown of a galaxy J7 2017 phone.

This is useful as it shows how to remove the motherboard so that access to the charge port is possible.

At 9:00 minutes into the video the motherboard is shown being removed from the phone.

As the port is an SMD (surface mounted device) type connector, you’ll need SMD soldering tools and expertise to effect a replacement of the connector

Charging port connectors are available online. Just search for Galaxy J7 2017 charge port part to get results.

SMD soldering is not for novices. You can cause more damage than what you had before you started if you don’t know what you’re doing.
