Need to identify a component on logic board

I have a MacBook Pro retina 13" late 2013

One day he refused to see the SSD, like an innocent I ordered an SSD for 300 CAD, I installed it and Na it did not see it.

I decided to go to Apple store. they kept it for a couple of days and told me afterwards that it is a logic board issue and costs 10,000 CAD :) you know.

I went on Internet and followed the instructions of a video on IFIXIT. I removed the logic board and looked at it under a magnifier. Just behind the plug where the SSD sits, on the other side of the board I discovered a surface mount component that has leaked a greenish material and was obviously the problem to repair.

I copied the writing on it so I can buy it and install it (DDP 3X 8B) the surprise is nothing on the internet, nothing at an electronics store, and nothing on google knows what the hack this component is!

Can anyone help? would be much appreciated. I can post pics if needed.

@gass the 820-XXXX number of your logicboard as well as some good images of the area where the part is nissing/failed etc is a must to help you. Use this guide Voeg afbeeldingen toe aan een bestaande vraag for that.

First: Do what Oldturkey03 said.

Second: $10,000 Canadian Dollars equals $7,839.50 US Dollars, is that correct?

Third: Apple offers a "Flat Rate Repair" program in the USA. They will fix any and all things on your Mac if it has not received liquid or impact damage. Simply call at 1-800=MYAPPLE. This program takes four days, shipping is overnight express, total with tax and shipping is $357 in Texas USoA.

I see that the wording of my question offended you. Even-though I don't know the reason, that was not my intention, I was just trying to be funny. this been said, We in Canada have Apple repair service too, they offered me a flat rate of $718.75 CAD for repairing the logic board. After I removed the logic board and pinpointed the problem, my reaction was obvious. I have nothing against Apple, at the contrary when I opened the Laptop and saw the quality of their product, I was impressed and surprised in the same time that a component of this quality would fail. Thank you for answer anyway. The rate of $357 is appealing but before I call them,I will try to find this component if I can.

No you didn't offend me. Maybe Canadian humor doesn't translate to Texan. Anyway, I don't understand why they are trying to stick you with a $718.75 bill.

Converting $357 to CAD is $456.5

Looks to me like they are trying to stiff you for $262.25. Are you going to an AASP or to an Apple store?

I am glad to hear that. You are right. It must be my knowledge of English language (which is my 3rd language) did not detect the humor. I am trying to add a capture of their estimation but I cannot add a pic to my message.
