If you do not have 16GB of RAM (how to check https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203001 its under memory) you can upgrade to 16 GB. PC3L-12800 8 GB RAM Chip MacBook Pro 13" Unibody mid 2012 Vervanging van de RAM
I also reccomend upgrading to an SSD, as that will give you a noticeable boost! (More than the extra RAM might)
iFixit sells:
250GB
500GB
1000GB
and a guide for free:
MacBook Pro 13" Unibody mid 2012 Vervanging van de harde schijf
If you want one at a time, start with the SSD.

To clarify, your system can support up to 16 GB of RAM within the two memory slots it has.
Often the 13" unibody model's need a new HD SATA cable as they tend to wear from the rough surface of the uppercase. I strongly recommend you do that and also apply some electrical tape underneath to help protect it.
Here's the IFIXIT guide you'll need to follow: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 Hard Drive Cable Replacement and here's the needed part: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody (Mid 2012) Hard Drive Cable
OK. I updated the RAM. should I add the rest of your comment as an update?
Honestly I would recommend the Toshiba Portege z20t. It is a great 2 in 1 at an affordable price. It has amazing battery life, up to 14 hours.

I think Paco is more instrested in what upgrades to his Mac he can do than jumping to a Windows system.
