I have no idea where I can buy this kind of cable

So I was repairing a speaker and I had to replace the aux cable. However this cable has 3 wires inside, a red one, a white one and a black one (these are inside the cable itself). So today I decided to cut open one of my own and I realised it only has a white and a red cable.

So my question is: "Where can I buy that kind of cable?" And how is that sort of cable called?

I assume you are talking about a 3.5mm cable.

Red is the right channel. That's a standard in the audio industry.

In an RCA plug, white is left channel. However, black could also be left. If I were to take an educated guess, I'd go with white being left channel and black being ground.

What I suggest you do is get a 3.5mm plug, and wire it up. Wire each color to the same contacts as the previous cable if you remember where they where. Play it very quietly, and make sure you can hear both channels, as well as correct stereo orientation. No damage should come to your system as long as you play it quietly.

If you are try to wire something else, please attach some images and tell us your exact model and brand.

@stijntech If you cut any 3.5mm cable, that is what it should look like. A red, a white, and a black.
