@razielsd what model is the TV and is there a pattern to the blinking?

door

There is not a pattern to the blinking. It is a steady blinking of both the power button and the screen itself. As long as it is plugged in and you hit the power button it just blinks nonstop.

The model # UN60J6200AF

Hello, I have the same issue that red light blink and no picture. I took the main board connector out but LED was still there. I powered the TV and observed all LEDs on/off (blinking). Is this mean, bad power supply?

Model - UN60H6203AF / Samsung

Please suggest. Ahmed

Hello looking for advice, bought a new TV less than a month ago and my little boy decided to frow a toy car at it (I was not pleased at all) however with it being Christmas and money being low I appreciated the fact half of the screen still worked, (planning on replacing the TV once Christmas is out the way) however I woke up this morning and the screen is just flicking on and off almost like it's gone into standby, has anyone got any suggestions? I know it's not ideal to have half a screen in the first place but I'm genuinely stuck with it unless I take all my presents back and that is not an option

I have a 60" Samsung TV Model UN60EH6003FXZA as soon as you plugged it without pressing the remote or pressing the power button on the TV it started BLINKING and the RED light started going ON and OFF . I have changed the POWER supply board and the T-CON board , still the same.

Kindly show me how to solved this problem , as i have no money for now to buy a NEW TV.

@razielsd this could be a multitude of things. the constant blinking (no pattern) is indicative of an error with the power management system. The quickest way to test is by disconnecting the main board from the power supply board, plug in the power supply board, after that you should see some lights in the screw holes if the power supply is good. If you do not, then you can move on to the mainboard. Worst case scenario would be a bad panel, which can also cause this error. It might help if you post some images of the back of your TV with the cover removed as well as images of the different boards. Of course, a bad capacitor is always a possibility as well. Post some images of your boards with your question. That way we can see what you see. Use this guide for that.

I am going to assume that it could be all of those problems. Would it be cheaper to fix it or just buy another one? Also, do you know a website to buy the parts required?

door

That would depend on what you find and what boards you would need to replace and availability of those boards. It could easily run you more than a new TV but the only one that can make that decision is you.

i figured i would just replace all the boards and the capacitor if possible? Looking up a few parts it looks at if it will cost a couple of hundred, assuming all i needs is those 3 items

I unplugged the PS from the MB connected the power cord and im seeing the same thing. White light blinking on and off.

@madman1011 what make and model is your TV? Which white light is blinking? What have you checked? Anything from the original answer?

Power board does show significant heat damage.

Where you able to resolve this? My tv did the same exact thing a couple of hours ago.

after disconnecting the led from the power board the tv operated normally (on off button worked) . I put a flash light to the screen and could see picture and sound was working. When I reconnected the led to the power board it started blinking on and off again and the on off button stopped working. Could only turn it off by un plugging from outlet. Bad LED strips. I plan on replacing the power board because it shows alot of heat damage and the LED strips. Cost will probably be around $150.00 with parts from shopjimmy.

Did that work? When I followed your suggestion of unplugging the back lights mine worked also. Minus the screen of course. Before buying leds was wondering if it worked

Jade moon, I decided to get a new tv instead. I still have the tv and plan on installing new LED strips and new PB. I am very confident that will fix it.

Doug have you done this yet & did it work?

For my TV, I followed your previous guide and was able to get the back light to come on.

I went a step further and unplugged all the cables from the main board and plugged things in one at a time. Started with the speakers and got sound(previously none). Next was the power button( the button wouldn’t turn the TV off but the remote would) still had sound.

Then one of the ribbons for the display and everything was the same. When I plugged the second ribbon in it went back to flickering. I switched which ribbon was unplugged and the problem persisted. I then tried one of the ribbons going between the screen controllers and got everything but picture (no surprise).

Hello Aaron,

Were you able to fix it? I seem to have the exact same problem. When I plug in both of the flat cables that are connected to the panel, the tv switches on and off. When connecting just one of the flat cables (doesn't matter which one), the tv stays on.
