Reggie Island, JB weld possibly a temporary fix. See the attached links for better ways(permanent) fix of aluminum core tube leak or cracked plastic tank. You can also check with local auto recycler for rad replacement as they sell usually for fraction of the price of new. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button

Reggie Island no you cannot. JB Weld, no matter how good it is, will not withstand the coolant, the heat and the pressure inside your radiator. Fix your radiator properly by either having it soldered or replaced, depending on the damage.

@oldturkey03 Its not often or if ever I disagree with you but in this case I am . if the car has a plastic tank with aluminum veins then yes it can be fixed with JB weld depending on the area to be fixed Idf its the seams on the side of the tank you can remove the side straps and reseal the tank and JB weld works well here as long as the side straps are crimped back in place properly. if the leak is in the veins than your right it cant be I think @lpfaff1 was thinking the same way when he asked what exactly was leaking

@jimfixer nothing wrong with some disagreements. I will always welcome those :-)

You can definitely fix a radiator leak with JB Weld. Especially since they make a product called "Radiator Weld" LMAO

no...jb weld will not fix a radiator. I'll explain why..it will temporarily fix it for a short time but pressure will build up and find a weak spot blowing out the repair or by making the crack bigger..I know from multiple experiences and I'm actually doing it right now

Flex Seal should do the job! lol. I have a very small leak on the top of a plastic radiator, going to try the JB weld if it dosen't work. I've only spent a couple dollars and a half hour if not Polyvance has a tested trued product
