How do you replace the charging port?
The charging port in the tablet where you plug in the charger will not hold the charging cable. It appears the prongs may be broken or loose.

Joan, Check if your Flex 8 is under warranty, if you have to have it fixed by a tech., you will have to way your options to whether cost effective to repair, Flex 8 can be had pretty cheap now. I will post a link for tear down on your unit to enable you to access charge port and you can google search for a replacement part. Good luck.
