It is recommended not to use the iSlack for the 6s and 6s plus. Here is a repair guide to remove display with a small suction cup and tools.

Why, what's the reason?
Because there is some adhesive around the border of the screen frame under it which I think Adds some water resistance to the phone. But it does not mean it will be waterproof in any way.
A replacement screen will sit on fine without the adhesive. But with less water resistance as that part isn't sealed.

I have the same problem trying to open a 6s with a iSclack.
Looks like the adhesive gunk is stopping it
I will try this instead
