@eliiilevi clarify a few things for me. What is a general cleaning device and how did you clean it? How did you "realized that I needed to replace a component of tensions " and what component is this? It looks like some of the meaning gets lost due to translation.

I did manually corrosion cleaning and bath , I'm sure 90 % should replace the component voltages ( PM ) , i need a picture explaining to me exactly where sits the component please.

@eliiilevi how did you clean it? What did you use to clean it? Did you disassemble it to clean it? Did you remove all EMI shields? Be specific

I did what is listed here Electronics Water Damage

Eh? I thought samsung was saying the 7 series was water tight? Or am I thinking of HTC or someone else?

The only way to really attempt to fix a wet phone is to dunk it in 99% isopropyl Alcohol swish it around and blow compressed air into.... Ahh I think the only openings on Galaxy 7 are the Sim card slot and the headphone jack. So you might want to remove the back cover to blow out the Alcohol. Youtube has a disassembly video but in short you need to heat the back to soften the glue then pry up a tiny corner of it with a razor blad or exacto just enough to get a playing card (No kidding) into the crack. Then use the playing card to cut around the edge to pop it off.

If its been days and you've tried turning it on (Bad idea) your phone is probably ruined.

Wet phones are the worst problem.

If you manage to get it going after the 99% Alcohol bath back everything up and assume its likely to fail.

*Note SPEED is critical. The longer its not cleaned with 99% the more damaged the phone will get. Drug stores sell mostly 70% and is not good. *In fact I think it screws the phone up worse. So be sure its real 99% nothing less.

at what point do you dissconnect the battery?

tear the phone apart before the bath right? Your not seriously putting the whole phone into the IP alcohol ?

Thats one way to screw up a mobile phone display if I'm correct.

I'm totally serious.

If you can remove the battery do so as soon as possible. If its a phone with a inaccessable battery just dunk it with the battery. Use air first to remove most of the water. If it gets wet you need to rinse the crust creating water out to avoid making conductive paths. Let the phone fill up totally (So shake it around flip it in the tank etc) displace any remaining water.

Check this out. Just after1 min in? This is pretty amazing.

Unless its distilled, water has all sorts of minerals and form conductive paths and leaves "crust" in the phone that will alter the values of the discrete components. The "bath" should displace all the water/crust so there won't be any conductive paths to form when you try turning it back on. If done later or after someone has tried to turn it on before cleaning your chances of this (Or anything) working are slimer.
