candissmith937, sounds like a bad battery. I'd start with that and see if that resolves your issues. Use this guide to replace it.

Hi how can I find me a a cable A/C D/C slot for my NextBook 8 and whwre can I take to around the Shreveport La. area.

What happens when you connect the charger to the tablet, can you switch the tablet on? What is the make and model number of your tablet?
