Right speaker terminals have no signal. Possible to fix?

Hello guys,

I wanted to use this old amplifier, a Kenwood KA-56.

But unfortunately for both outputs (speakers A and B) only the left connector receives a signal.

Somewhere the signal to the right terminal is lost.

I know i is not expensive to buy a new one, but I wanted to have an idea first about the option to fix this myself.

what do you think?

Thanks,

Chances are you have a output transistor that has went out. These devices are in place to provide sound in the speakers through a chain of other components. These devices are a common failure when it comes to our now called “ through away society”. It will need to be looked at and diagnosed by a professional tech. This is something you may not be able to do yourself for reason of LETHAL HIGH VOLTAGES and lack of equipment and or knowledge.
