As of 2024 on Windows 10 I'm still having this issue, it happens to Spotify as well but I fix that by reinstalling it. This happens when I mess around with audio devices and have to set them up again (I.E rename them again in the sound control panel). My fix for this issue is as such:[br]

Open settings (Win + I) > System > Sound > Advanced sound options > App volume and device preferences[br]

If any are blank they will not work, make sure they all say the right audio device or "default". The reset button should set them all to default.[br]

If none were blank then this probably wasn't your issue, keep scrolling. I hope this helps all the other Micahs out there (Micah is OP, made this account just to post my solution)
