specific keys on the keyboard not working

How do i determine if i need to substitute the keyboard, keyboard controller or the flex cables? [br]
It stopped working after i spilled a bit of water in it, like 20ml worth, took it apart fast enough that nothing corroded on the main board or keyboard controller. left for a week with no battery or wall power, everything else still works including keyboard lights
