Okay so here’s the location, it’s right next to the battery connector on the motherboard, when the (plug from battery) is connected to motherboard it actually sits slightly under it. I believe it’s a ferrite bead or capacitor?? Anyways I don’t know what one it is or if it’s able to be fixed. Here’s what happened, I went to clean my fans, I powered off the laptop and went about taking it apart, I go to pull the battery connector off, it’s stuck or just attached very well. Lol so I pry on the corner of it, comes loose but slides right into that little thing and creates a little spark. I instantly new I messed up, so I look at what happened, and it appears this thing is cracked or melted. Please help and i pray it’s able to be fixed, laptop has no life currently. Ugh!!
