Is it a Synaptics or Elan touchpad?
Which ever it needs to be turned on as so:
-* Make sure the touchpad driver (for example, Synaptics or Elan) installed on the PC is the latest. If not, go to [link|https://support.lenovo.com/|Lenovo support site|new_window=true] to download and install. Otherwise ***Device Settings*** may be unavailable. Search to open ***Control Panel*** --> ***Mouse***. See [link|https://support.microsoft.com/help/13764/windows-where-is-control-panel|Where is Control Panel?|new_window=true]
