I have an old Lacie drive that uses a 4-pin (circular) plug connection from the power supply bar to the hard drive. The power bar shows a steady green light until I connect its 4-pin plug to the lacie drive; then the green light flashes intermittently & fades in colour. The drive won’t power up, so I assume something is wrong with the receiving end of the 4-pin connection. What can I do to fix this, or to recover the data from the drive before I recycle the device?
