	Try a soft reset first:

	1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of the unit until a red slider appears

	2. Drag the slider.

	3. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

	If a soft reset doesn’t work, try a hard reset:

	Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for about ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

+	Move closer to the Wi-Fi router or hotspot.

+	If you are using a personal Wi-Fi network, verify the Wi-Fi router is connected to power and turned on.

+	Wi-Fi networks configured as "closed" or "private" do not broadcast the network name to Wi-Fi devices.

+	Join a "closed" or "private" network by tapping Settings > Wi-Fi > Other and entering the Wi-Fi network name, security, and password.
