Is this ribbon cable likely to be broken?

As I wait for the final parts to complete my 3ds repair, I noticed that the screen ribbon cable gained a kink in the process.

(Sorry about visibility it is quite small and hard to focus)

The cable isn't torn and only seems to have bumps, but everything else seems intact. Does anybody have any clue if it would still feasibly work?
