My camera is frozen. it is only showing a blue-ish screen.

I just recieved a canon eos m50 for my Christmas present. after taking few photos, I turned my camera off which lead to a busy screen for a long time. I decided to remove my sd card and battery pack and inserting it back in. the camera only showed a blue-ish colored screen when the battery pack was inserted. please help me.
