Dear Esmeralda:
If you only buy a reset code, and then you do succeed in resetting the counter to zero, in a few months you will find you have ink all over your furniture. The counter is there to tell you to take the printer in to an Epson authorized technician for its required service. It needs fresh waste ink pads installed to hold the wasted ink it sucks through of the print head nozzles when it is cleaning itself. If the pads are full, and the counter is reset, it will overflow and run out of the printer on to your desk. Contact Epson online, look for their service support, and the website will refer you to the nearest service center. They will have Epson software that will do that job properly and give you your printer back as good as new.
