My kenmore elite also was drying less, taking longer to dry.  I was able to disassemble it by checking youtube. The exit duct from the drying drum to the hose leaving the back of the dryer was full of lint. In my  case this was in the front of the dryer. Now I clean it every 2 years as a maintenance task.
