ASUS C300 White slender strip came unattached while replacing battery

I know the area where it should be attached but have no idea where exactly it reattaches to or how. I followed Jake Van Loon's instructions for the replacement of the battery and notice in one of the pictures the white strip is unattaced and in the following picture it's been reattached. Anone have any ideas. Greatly appreciate any help.
