Ok, so it would be "easier" to replace the whole logic board. But I wouldn't call that cost effective. The charger port is soldered onto the logic board. Technically it's not the worst repair. But if you don't have the tools or skills. It's gonna be difficult. You can't do this with a hair dryer. You need special tools. So either cough up the money for the logic board, or find a good local repair shop, that does board repair
