Hi
I have an Ipad 2 that had a small crack on its screen. When I was using it the screen went dead but the backlight was still working and I could hear sounds.
I replaced the digitizer and the screen will work for a couple of minutes and then it will revert to backlight only and just sound.
If I remove the digitizer ribbon cable from the connectors and leave it for an hours or so, and then reconnect it - the screen will come back on as normal but only for a few minutes. I have not yet stuck the digitizer back down as I am not confident it is completely fixed. I have tried two digitizers and had the same results.
I am not sure what to do next - could it be a problem with the ribbon connector or the logic board. Is there anyway of testing what the problem could be?
Thanks

Thanks for your response - I have checked everything and checked the ribbon cable - I have pushed it in as far as possible. I was hopeful that as the screen came on (for a short period of time) it may be something fixable.
Thanks again
