Your battery may need to be replaced. Cell phone batteries not only have a positive and negitive pin to provide power, it also has a BSI (Battery Statis Indicator) pin. This pin provides battery statis information to the phone during the boot process. If the battery is defective, the phone will automatically reboot in order to protect itself. This is called a boot-loop.
