How to access internal data when screen is defective?

Tekst:

Hey, I found an old phone of mine and I want to get the pictures and videos off of it. I guess in the time that I lost it in storage the screen wont work, it turns on but wont let me enter the password.
-I have tried putting a magnet to the back of it to enter into car mode but that still wont let me get into the thing. I cannot access any of the options on the phone either. When plugged into the computer it charges and shows up in devices and printers but wont show up in the explorer as a removable device.

I have tried many things and find myself at a dead end. I tried Dr. fone or whatever but this device is too old. Is there any way I can get into this phones internal data? I would even take it apart if I needed to since its junk anyway. I was just hoping to get some old memories off of it.
Thanks for your help
