After replacing all related parts thermostat radiator fan etc. we turned to only thing left. Head gasket. We were right. The water jacket part of the head gasket was leaking. Our original was actually three layers pressed together, and the top layer developed a crack between two water hole . We did ours ourselves, but it's not cheap if you can't. She made 224k before needing any of it however. Great car.
