Now I'm thinking, i shouldn't have tried this myself!

My 5yr old N8 has been in retirement for a few years now, though occasionally i have used it as a backup phone.

Recently i used my old N8 for a few weeks whilst my Newest phone was being repaired.

PROBLEM: I attempted to transfer the data i collected over these few weeks   (pics, videos & texts) onto my pc. Not sure what happened or what i did but now my N8 is displaying  'Code Lock' on the screen! PLEASE tell me i haven't HARD RESET my N8...?

I do recall screen displaying 'Phone will Restart'

I've entered default unlock number 12345OK only to have code error displayed  on the screen.

HELP.
