Hey Jonathan! I've had the same problem before.  I would look at the [[HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15-b142dx Troubleshooting|troubleshooting]] page, where they outline specific problems that may occur with the WiFi on this laptop.   Definitely try resetting the laptop, WiFi, or the driver first.
