hello guys. I have the same problem. Can anyone confirm the above solution(changing the display) works? because, i am going to try the solution myself too. i tried all the other solutions available on the net and met the apple service centre guys. they asked 3/4th amount of the new phone itself to repair, they said that it is the amount apple charges for repair and service charges etc. i cant spend much money for the repair guys... helo me.
