Please check to verify that you have not disconnected the connecter from the front camera (to the right of the camera - connects underneath the circuit board).  When I lifted the circuit board to replace my screen/digitizer the connector conpleted dis-engaged and I has to snap it back in place and I need to be carefull to to overstress it.
