Bad Interconnect Cable, Bad.

Mijn probleem

A client's iPhone had issues connecting to cellular signals after a battery replacement.

Mijn oplossing

The repair went smoothly and resolved the issue. Upon examining the cable, there were notches in its length. Sorry for the low res photos, but the shiny spots along the left side of the cable are indentations which cut into the cable.

Mijn advies

My only suggestion is for others who replace batteries, don't use the right side of the battery or length of an iPhone's interconnect cables as a pry point.
