2015 MBP 15" Display Replacement

Mijn probleem

The computer fell out of an (unbeknownst to me) open backpack when I flung it over my shoulder, breaking the screen and severely damaging the display assembly.

Mijn oplossing

I ordered the part from IFIXIT after finding out Apple's cost of replacement would be 2/3 of $1,000 - before tax. So I ordered the part at 2/3 the cost of *that* and replaced it myself in less than 30 minutes.

Mijn advies

If you're even moderately handy I'd say it's well worth it to go this route. You'll need a decent multi-headed tiny screwdriver set (I used a Vastar 58 in 1 from Amazon for $15 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015F7...)).
