Lift the screen slightly

  • Pull up on the suction cup with firm, constant pressure to create a slight gap between the screen and the metal frame.

  • A plastic bezel is secured to the underside of the display, and needs to lift up with the display. Inserting a pick between the bezel and the display will damage the panel.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap under the screen's plastic bezel.

  • Make sure the opening pick is placed under the plastic bezel (against the frame) to avoid damaging your screen.

  • The watertight adhesive holding the screen in place is very strong; creating this initial gap takes a significant amount of force. If you're having a hard time opening a gap, apply more heat, and gently rock the screen up and down to weaken the adhesive until you create enough of a gap to insert your tool.

Til het scherm ietwat omhoog

Trek de zuignap met een stevige, constante kracht omhoog om zo een kleine opening tussen het voorste paneel en de achterste behuizing te creëren.

Steek een openingsplectrum in de opening onder de plastic rand van het scherm.

De waterdichte kleefstrip die het scherm op z'n plek houdt is erg sterk, waardoor het creëren van deze opening aardig wat kracht kan vereisen. Als je moeite hebt met het creëren van een opening, kun je meer warmte toedienen en het scherm vervolgens heen en weer wiebelen om een opening te creëren waar je tool in past.
