Gereedschap

An electric train suitable for 1 year plus.
This train has a 6v lead acid battery and selection of controls in the console. It is charged from a connector at the rear of the train.
You can access the battery compartment with a cross head screwdriver to open the seat.
To access the rest of the circuit and components requires you to turn the train upside down and remove the screws

Where do I plugin the charger
There is a socket on the rear of the train, dependant on the age of the train this could be of different types. See the System guide for details.
Where can I get spares
You can buy a spare battery or charger at Hedstrom Battery - Product Code: THO2284K9
They also stock a charger but note that there is an old style and new style connector for the charger.
The wheels slip on the track
Make sure the track is dry and free from grass or leaves. Try to get the driver to lean back a bit so that their weight is on the rubberised driving wheels. Perhaps add some dry sand to the track to provide more grip.
