Background
The Motorola X Sol Republic Deck is a bluetooth speaker designed by Motorola. Released in August 2013 the Deck is powered by large R2 Sound Engines and a bass port for bigger sound. The speaker can support wireless sound up to 300 feet away. When put in Heist Mode the Deck allows up to five people to connect to the speaker at one time, and the status(LED) light pattern that spells ‘SOL’ across the face assigns a color to each device it’s connected to, making it easier to know who is currently playing music.
