The current Ligier Group focuses on stylish, urban mobility and light commercial vehicles. Their modern quadricycles, such as the JS50 and JS60, often feature high-end amenities like air conditioning and touchscreen infotainment that defy their "micro" classification. In line with modern trends, Ligier launched its first all-electric quadricycle, the Myli, in 2023. More recently, the brand made headlines in early 2026 when a JS50 Diesel set a new record for the slowest-ever lap of the Nürburgring at 28 minutes and 25.8 seconds, a lighthearted nod to the brand's shift from speed to practicality.

The JS50 is available in both diesel and electric versions, with varying homologations that determine its top speed and accessibility for young drivers.

The JS50 Diesel (L6e) utilizes a 499cc two-cylinder engine, typically from Lombardini/Kohler, producing approximately 8 hp (6 kW) and 27 Nm of torque. This configuration is limited to a top speed of 45 km/h (28 mph), allowing it to be driven in many European countries by those as young as 14. For those seeking more speed, the JS50 Electric (L7e) provides a higher output and a top speed of up to 75 km/h (47 mph). Electric models offer two battery options: an 8.28 kWh pack with a range of up to 123 km, and a high-performance 12.42 kWh pack that can reach up to 192 km on a single charge using a standard 230V outlet.
