Background and Identification
The JBL Charge 4 is the fifth generation of the Charge series speakers from JBL by Harman released in October of 2018. It can be distinguished from its predecessor, the Charge 3, by the Charge 4 logo on the back, the exclamation point on the left passive bass radiator, and its model number (CHARGE4S) found in the charging port bay.
This durable and waterproof Bluetooth speaker features a 7500mAh battery capable of playing 20 hours of music as well as charging other devices with the USB charge out port. The Charge 4 generation also includes USB-C charging, Bluetooth connectivity with two devices simultaneously, and the ability to play music from over 100 JBL speakers at the same time with JBL Connect.
