The tool spins at over 30,000 RPM with a 5 AMP motor. This gives the device an incredible amount of power. It is excellent for cutting through drywall, plywood, ceramic tile, Plexiglas, cement board, countertops, and acoustical ceiling tile. This makes the device perfect for nearly any project.
