Troubleshooting
Track down a number of hardware problems using the Casio Exilim EX-Z70 Troubleshooting Guide.
Identification and Background
The Casio Exilim EX-Z70 Camera was released by Casio in August 2006. It comes with a 7.2 megapixel lens, 3X optical zoom, and 2.5 inch LCD screen. It does not contain a viewfinder. It comes in two colors, black or silver and its dimensions are 9.5 cm x 6.1 cm x 2.0 cm.
As many Casio cameras look alike, you can first ensure the brand is Casio by checking the front of the camera where it will be written. If it is an Exilim model, your camera will say "Exilim" in big letters on the front to the left of the lens. You can then determine the model by checking the ID number (such as EX-Z70) on the bottom of the camera. Be careful, it is easy to mistake the ID number as EX-270.
