Rechargeable batteries are not forever. They have a finite life of several years if used often. Unfortunately, they're sealed. Not repairable unless taking risks to open the charging case to determine battery size and replacement. Since there are three batteries, when one fails, the others may fail. Opening ear buds charging case may damage internal parts. You can try finding a repair shop, try opening yourself and then determining battery replacement from many online sources, or buy a new set of ear buds.

Hi!

If your earbud case is not charging, start by testing another charging cable and another charging adapter to make sure it is the case that is the problem. Check the charging port for any debris or corrosion and if found clean the port. Also check if the charging port in the case is loose, if the port is loose, you may need to replace the port.

Assuming the prior things are all okay, then this is most likely a dead battery or the battery cables has gotten loose. Dead batteries are common, as batteries age and break down by time and usage.

To check and replace battery in the charging case, you will need a few basic tools, and a soldering iron. iFixit does not have a guide to replace the battery in the case, but I found a Youtube video guide for it, how to open the case starts at 6:50. The video is in Hindi, but the process is pretty self-explanatory.

Some additional notes on the video guide:

  • To open the case you can start by using something thin to pry it open, like an opening pick, guitar pick, or credit card, instead of metal tools to avoid scratches.
  • Once you've open the case:
    • Check if the cables to the battery are disconnected from the PCB, if they are, then solder them back to the board.
    • If the battery cables are still connected to the PCB, then you likely need to replace the battery.
      • Check the writing on the battery, if it has a model number you can search it up to find a replacement battery, or search for Boult Z20 case battery. Before ordering, double check that the voltage and the size of the battery are correct, you will find voltage numbers printed on the battery.
      • Then you will need to desolder the old battery and then solder the new battery to the PCB.

Take lots of pictures while you work. Once you're done, upload those pictures and create a guide, this will help the next person who has the same issue.

Please respond if you have any further questions.

Good Luck,

Cheers
