After bypass sim not working

Please help me. I bought a second-hand iPhone 5S. At first, the phone had a signal and recognized the SIM card. I updated the phone and it was locked. I didn't have the previous person's Apple ID. I jailbrake the phone and bypassed it. After that, the phone has a signal but doesn't recognize the SIM card, doesn't connect to the operator, and I can't talk.
