Drone does not respond to controller

I have not used my Mini 2 in a couple of years because of restrictions where I used to live. Now, I have updated all firmaware and fully charged the batteries and the light on the aircraft blinks green. The controller connects to the aircraft, and I can see the image that the aircrtaft sees, on the iphone.. However, the propellors will not respond to the controller, If I press the auto takeoff button, or use the joysticks, nothing happens at all. Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

If you check the top left of the screen, there should be a little preflight checklist if you click on it in DJI FLY. this should give you a few different warnings if something is wrong, otherwise it would just say clear for take off.

Are you in a geographical restricted area? Like near airport, national park, reservation, etc? If so you will need to unlock. There is an option to do that in the settings top right of control screen.
