“Hard drive not installed” on a Dell Latitude usually means a loose or faulty SATA/SSD connection. Reseat the drive, check the flex cable, ensure it’s in the correct slot, and run Dell Diagnostics (F12). Update BIOS and try another drive if needed. Often the issue is a failing SSD or connector.
