Where to buy replacement batteries for flip minoHD

Hello I have a couple of flip mino hds that i have taken apart and I have tested all the batteries and they are all dead. When I attach a working battery from different mino it works fine! Anyone know where I can find replacement parts?

I have tried batteries plus and called flip. batteries plus could not find a replacement and flip told me they do not sell replacement batteries for the mino as it is an internal battery.

Please if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

It might be possible to replace the battery, but to keep the case and circuit board. Do you have a part number on your battery?

Hi,

I've found a source of the battery (only large quantities from this supplier). Does anyone know how the PCB controller attached to the Flip Mino battery might be reused? The original is spot welded.

I'll bet there are lots of these cameras out there that could be saved if we could figure out how to safely install just a new battery in this recorder.

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a regular li-ion 3.7 v 1150mAh battery and install the board from the old pack onto it?

Unfortunately, that was the only battery on the market. Unless you buy a used or broken one, and transfer the battery, there is no other way to do so.

Battery for Palm One LifeDrive Pocket PC seems to be an equivalent but connector needs to have four leads. Have ordered one and if it is a replacement will report.

Any more recent news on battery replacement for a MinoHD? Ours no longer keeps a charge for more than a few minutes.
