Red LED Blinking after Battery Replacement

First time I got the red LED blinking and won't turn on, I replaced the battery. I managed to get the phone turned back on. However, a few hours later, the touch screen is not working. I charged the phone fully, shut it off, and left it for a few days. Now, I get the red LED blinking again. Can someone explain, please?
