How to fix computer code B1317:60

I ran out of fuel without knowing (dashboard doesn't work) on a slope. Tried to crank on and it failed so I leveled the truck the most I could on the road and still nothing. Fueled up 5 gallons and nothing. Had a mechanic bleed out the lines and gave the truck a jump from another truck and it will automatically shut off. So we checked the diagnostic system and it gives me codes B1317:60 ; B1352:60 ; and U1900:60.

Hey there, from the codes and what you described, here’s what I think is going on with your truck.

B1317 means your battery voltage is low – could be a weak battery, bad connection, or the alternator not charging right.

B1352 points to a problem with the ignition switch or the wiring around it.

U1900 is a communication issue between the truck’s computer modules – usually wiring or a connector somewhere.

Since you ran out of fuel, it’s also possible there’s still air trapped in the fuel lines. I’d start by making sure the battery’s solid, check the ignition stuff, make sure the wiring/connectors are good, and prime the fuel system.

If it still won’t start after that, you might need a Ford guy to take a closer look, especially with the dash not working.
